Police are investigating £30,000 of vandalism to football pitches in High Valleyfield.
Artificial turf has been ripped up and set on fire, while broken glass has been embedded within parts of the playing surface.
The pitches, adjacent to St Serf’s Primary School, are frequently used by pupils and the community.
Police Sergeant Kate Blackwell said: “This recurring vandalism has not only deprived the community of their local pitches, it will also cost thousands of pounds to repair and restore.
“We are eager to trace those responsible and are appealing to the local community for any information regarding this incident.”
