St Andrews chef put to the test on Masterchef: The Professionals
ByGraham Gibson
The heat is failing to get to a St Andrews chef as he stars in BBC TV show Masterchef: The Professionals.
Scott Davies, head chef at The Adamson restaurant, will be seen sizzling up our screens on tonight’s episode of the popular cooking contest.
Last night he had to pass Monica’s skills test before facing Michel Roux Jr’s classic challenges.
Tonight, the chefs must show Michel and Monica they have what it takes with a dish of their own invention.
Over the course of his career Scott has worked at several top Scottish restaurants, as well as spending a year in Melbourne, Australia, and achieved three rosettes as a head chef by the age of 26.
The Adamson co-owner Julie Lewis said: “Scott got really good reviews in the first show. Gregg Wallace said that his food was ‘yummy yummy’ and Monica said his basil panna cotta was nearly as good as hers.
“We are delighted as he’s a fabulous chef.”
