Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses following a number of recent youth incidents within Dalgety Bay and Inverkeithing.
Towards the end of February, Inverkeithing properties in Spittalfield Road, Niven Road and Spencerfield Road were targeted resulting in three windows being smashed.
Local officers in Dalgety Bay have also received calls relating to smoke flares being set off, while both areas have reported ongoing issues relating to noise, antisocial behaviour and egg-throwing.
Inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible and anyone who can assist police with their investigation is asked to come forward.
Sergeant Kate Blackwell, from Dalgety Bay Police Station, said: “The majority of the incidents we have dealt with relate to youths causing a disturbance around residential areas.
“However, there have been a few occasions where property has been damaged and we want to stress to the public that this behaviour will not be tolerated.
“Anyone who can help us identify the young people involved in these offences should contact police immediately. I would urge parents, guardians and carers to discuss these recent crimes with your children and make sure when they head out with their friends that you know where they are going and who they are with.”
Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
