Kinglassie’s K-Town FM to return and maybe for good
ByNews reporter
Kinglassie’s community radio station has signed off for the summer with a promise that it will be back on the airwaves soon.
K-Town FM, available on the 87.8FM frequency, completed its third year of broadcasts across central Fife from Kinglassie Library on Friday. The station has been a summer feature since 2008, with the project run by the Kinglassie Action Group and supported by Fife Council, the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, Adam Smith College and Kirkcaldy YMCA.
There are plans for it to become a full-time operation in the future.
