A Fife teenager has set her sights on bringing the Miss World crown to Scotland.
Emma McInnes (18), of St Andrews, is among 30 beauties who have been shortlisted for the title of Miss Scotland.
Voting has begun in a national newspaper and if Emma, a fitness instructor for Fife Council and the Old Course Hotel, wins she hopes to go on to international success.
Last year, Emma was named Miss Teen Galaxy, becoming the first Scottish woman to win an international beauty title in 25 years.
She said, “It would be great publicity for St Andrews for a local girl to win Miss World.
“Winning would also help me continue with my very important task of helping as many charities as possible.”
