Fears have been raised in Leslie about a “potentially dangerous” derelict property in the village.
A resident contacted The Courier to say he is “extremely concerned” about a section of metal guttering sticking out of the house at 222 High Street and that he was disappointed Fife Council had not yet taken action, despite being informed about it weeks ago.
Fife Council’s service manager for building standards and public safety, Neil Mitchell, said: “We’ve carried out an inspection and have found no immediate work is needed. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and carry out any work if necessary.”
