A 30-year-old man has appeared in court in connection with an armed robbery at a BP petrol station in St Clair Street, Kirkcaldy. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday. Ryan Robert Geddes appeared on petition at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court. He made no plea or declaration to charges of assault and robbery. The case was committed for further examination and bail was refused. The accused is due to make a second court appearance on February 10.
