A former Fife fashion student has her dream job sewn up.
Jade Rodgers (25), who studied at Adam Smith College, Kirkcaldy, has found full-time employment with Victoria Beckham’s Ready to Wear production and development department in London.
After leaving Adam Smith with an HND in fashion design and production, Jade went on to Heriot-Watt University’s School of Textiles and Design and graduated with a BA (Hons) in fashion design for industry.
Jade, from Nairn, said: “My HND with Adam Smith turned out to be a silver lining. Christine Robson, our curriculum head, inspired me with the fashion industry in its entirety, which ignited by passion for design.
“I wouldn’t have got where I am now without that adventure. There will always be fashion houses and teams you want to be part of because you know the work they do will intensify your motivation to become the best you can.”
Jade is one of a number of graduates from Adam Smith College working in fashion design development studios for companies such as Karen Millen and Coast in London.
