Around 150 mourners have gathered at the funeral of a mother-of-two found murdered in her home.
Jennifer Rennie, 26, who lived in Rosyth, Fife, was described as “the most dedicated mum you could imagine”, who lived for her two children Violet, 5, and one-year-old Logan.
She was found dead at her home on the morning of March 11.
Police said it is understood she was killed by her ex-partner Scott Simpson, 41, who then took his own life. His body was later discovered at his house in Dalgety Bay around three miles away.
The couple’s relationship ended several weeks earlier, after being together for around six years, police said.
She was laid to rest at Hillend Cemetery near Dunfermline following a service at the town’s Glen Pavilion.
