Police are appealing for information after a woman driver was stopped by a man impersonating a police officer in north east Fife.
The incident took place just after midnight on Saturday, April 13 on the A914 Cupar Road, near to the Clushford Toll junction.
He is described as being white, 5’9’’- 5’11’’ tall, with light coloured short hair receding at the front and sides and who spoke with a local accent. He was driving a dark blue or black hatchback car.
It comes after a similar incident in January when a woman driver was stopped by a man, who sped off after she challenged him.
The suspect was driving a light coloured car, possibly a BMW. He is described as white, 5’8’’ tall, stocky build, local accent, with dark hair and long-ish sideburns.
