VIDEO: St Andrews students using ‘puppy love’ to help with exam stress

Stressed out students are using puppy love to put the bite on exam nerves.
Students at the University of St Andrews took a paws in their study timetables to pet some guide dogs-in-training. The canine relaxation therapy was fur the benefit of both the two-legged and four-legged participants.
A team of pups were brought by the Guide Dogs charity to the Fife university’s student association building where a special ‘puppy stress-release’ room had been set aside.
More than 100 students spent the afternoon playing with adorable youngsters who are in training to help blind and partially-sighted people.
The session was the first major even organised by the newly-established University of St Andrews Guide Dogs Society which is thought to be the first organisation of its kind.
