Police are hunting a man who carried out a vicious and unprovoked assault and robbery on a disabled man.
The man, said to be in his 20s, attacked the vulnerable 62-year-old in broad daylight and stole a three-figure sum of money in a street close to Leven town centre.
The victim, who walks with the aid of a zimmer frame, suffered minor cuts and grazes in the incident in Victoria Road at 1.35pm on Tuesday.
Police have appealed for witnesses and issued a description of the man they want to trace.
He is of slim build and around 5ft 10in. He was wearing a white jacket at the time of the assault.
