Helen Smith, 48, is accused of cutting Stuart Cooper at the couple’s home in Carden Castle Park, Cardenden, on August 26. Smith denied the charge when she appeared today at Dunfermline Sheriff Court. Sheriff Charlie Macnair continued the case for trial to a date in early February, with no further pre-trial hearing. For more on this story, see Friday’s Courier.
