The campaign to safeguard the future of Dunfermline Athletic FC has made it to the Scottish Parliament.
A motion has been raised by MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife Annabelle Ewing.
Pars legend and Fife provost Jim Leishman has launched an appeal and warned time is rapidly running out to save the Fife club.
The cash-strapped club are due Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs due a six-figure sum, which prompted Leishman to issue his impassioned plea at a press conference at East End Park earlier this week.
It was there he confirmed the club’s majority shareholder Gavin Masterton was resigning from the board along with his daughters, Karen Masterton and Tracey Martin, while long-serving chairman John Yorkston will also be standing down.
