The block is reduced to rubble.
Going…going…gone.
The skyline of the gateway to Fife at Kincardine changed forever in the space of a few seconds yesterday morning.
The last of the village’s three tower block of flats came down to earth in a puff of smoke.
The colourful landmarks were defining features for many years before two of the three blocks were demolished in 2010.
The remaining building, Ramsay Court, was flattened by Dem-Master Demolition.

More than 300 surrounding residents were evacuated in the morning, for the demolition to take place. It was carried out by the controlled use of explosives.
Richard McCulloch from Dem-Master Demolition said: “We are delighted with the result of the demolition. A significant amount of planning went into this project which resulted in a very smooth, safe and successful operation.”
With the last tower block now down, the land will be transferred to Kingdom Housing Association to build 16 mid-market rent homes to complement the 65 social rent that have already been built on the site of the former flats.
