As an experienced solicitor with a detailed knowledge of planning law and practice, Mr Crosbie had a key role in many of the important planning appeals and decisions involving the council.
He recently successfully represented it in the Clatto and Devon Wood windfarm appeals.
Mr Crosbie acted as clerk to the Fife planning review body and attended committee meetings to provide advice on planning law.
His contribution towards achieving the planning and environmental objectives of Fife Council will be appreciated for years to come.
