A man who exposed himself to supermarket workers in Fife has been placed on the sex offenders register for three years.
George Melville (61), of Landel Street, Markinch, was also placed on a three-year community payback order after admitting at Cupar Sheriff Court that he ”got a kick” out of his behaviour.
He admitted that on two occasions in May he exposed himself to staff in a North East Fife supermarket as he purchased his morning newspaper.
He was spotted on CCTV undoing his trousers before entering the store.
Although police were not called after the first occasion, he was reported after repeating the act five days later.
Alan Davie, defending, said: ”He does indicate in the background reports that he got a kick from the behaviour. I would hope that progress could be made with him to ensure nothing like this happens again.”
Melville’s not guilty pleas to two further charges were accepted by the Crown.
