The pipes gathered on the Market Park on Sunday for a delayed finale to the annual Crieff Highland Gathering.
The main 2013 event took place on August 18, with large crowds enjoying all the traditional activities but a clash with the annual World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow kept many competitors away.
To address that, the gathering invited a number of pipe bands not competing at the Worlds in order to provide the piping spectacle the crowds always enjoy.
Yesterday they followed that up by staging a separate pipe band competition at which thanks to the delay a number of the gathering’s regular bands were able to take part.
