Two people have been injured in a motorcycle accident in Perthshire.
The male rider and his female passenger, who are both understood to be in their 50s, were hurt after the crash on the southbound carriageway of the A9, on the Killecrankie by-pass, at 3pm on Tuesday.
It is understood the man has suffered serious injuries, while the woman is not believed to have been seriously hurt.
No other vehicles were involved.
Police closed the road in both directions to allow and an air ambulance to tend to the casualties and crash investigators are examining the circumstances of the incident.
Any witnesses are being urged to contact Tayside Division on 101, or speak to any officer.
