A T in the Park stall-holder admitted being in possession of £250 of cocaine at this year’s festival.
Michael Harkin (54) was running a herbal high tent at the Balado site but wanted to top up his legal “buzz” with the class A drug.
Police swooped on the Hemp Culture stall on July 9 the first day of the event after hearing Harkin was harbouring some rather less innocent substances.
The West Kilbride shopkeeper directed officers to his personal “drugs box” inside the tent, and maintained it was all meant for his own use.
The crown yesterday accepted Harkin’s not guilty plea to a charge alleging he was supplying cocaine on the side.
Solicitor Paul Ralph said Harkin, of Highthorn Crescent, admitted being in possession at the first instance and his stall made no profits during the festival.
Sheriff Lindsay Foulis fined him £600 at Perth Sheriff Court.
