Shotgun cartridges were among the goods stolen from a Perthshire shooting lodge last week.
Gun club members have been asked to contact the police if they are offered the cartridges.
And the public has been warned against buying cheap pre-packed venison after the raid on the lodge on Kinnaird Estate, near Dunkeld.
The thieves made off with a ”large number” of dark blue, 12-bore shotgun cartridges, as well as venison, alcohol and other items.
A spokesMAn said: ”Tayside Police is making enquiries after a break-in to a hunting lodge in the area of Grandtully, sometime between 8.30pm on Friday November 30 and 2pm on Saturday December 1.
”Thieves made off with significant quantity of shotgun cartridges, consumables items, a quantity of alcohol, a mincer and a rodent catcher.”
The police can be contacted on 0300 111 2222.
