Police are growing concerned for the whereabouts of a missing Perth pensioner.
Officers are anxious to trace John Styles, who has not been seen for more than 48 hours.
The 77-year-old is thought to have left his home in the centre of the city early on Wednesday morning.
He was last spotted in Crieff at about 7.30am that day after parking his black Kia car in the town’s Gallowhill area.
A major search operation is now under way.

Specialist search and rescue teams have also been drafted into scour the River Earn, which lies 500 metres from the abandoned vehicle on North Bridge Street.
A force spokesman confirmed the disappearance was ”out of character”.
”Officers have been contacting all Mr Styles’ associates in an effort to trace him,” the spokesman said. ”We are growing concerned for his welfare. This is quite out of character for him.”
The spokesman added: ”If anyone believes they may have seen Mr Styles or know of his whereabouts we would urge them to come forward. Just the smallest piece of information could help a great deal.”
Mr Styles, who is not known to frequent the Crieff area, is described as white European, 5ft 8in, of slim build with receding grey/white hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket, dark cord trousers, dark brogues and a blue baseball cap with white writing.
