Emergency services were called to the incident, between the Keir Roundabout and the Dunblane junction, at 9.20am. A police spokeswoman said both lanes of the road were closed while they dealt with the incident. The Scottish Ambulance Service transported one casualty to Forth Valley hospital in Larbert. The extent of their injuries was not known.
