Police identify man killed in road accident near Coupar Angus

Police have identified a man who was killed in a road accident near Coupar Angus.

Derrick Anderson, who was 61 and from Broughty Ferry, died when the red Vauxhall Astra he was travelling in collided with a tractor on the A923 near to the Kettins crossroads junction on Friday.

The female driver of the car and the driver of the tractor were also injured in the incident.

Police are asking for witnesses to contact them on 101.
