Perth rolls out green carpet to welcome Ryder Cup fans

Perth’s family-friendly Ryder Cup 2014 fan zone has opened for business ahead of the main event.

Youngsters enjoyed a series of mini-golf challenges laid out through the streets, while all the practice day action was beamed on to a big screen in the Perth Concert Hall plaza.

The activities will continue throughout the Ryder Cup, with a golf simulator at the Concert Hall and special film screenings at Perth Playhouse also part of the mix.

The big screen will broadcast today, between noon and 7pm, on Friday and Saturday, between 7.30am and 6.30pm, and on Sunday from 10am until 7pm.
