Perth will take a starring role in five episodes of gastronomic gameshow Come Dine With Me being broadcast next week.
Five would-be chefs from the Fair City will hope to win £1,000 by throwing the best dinner party of the week as voted for by their fellow contestants.
The first episode, which will be aired at 5pm on Monday, will see first-aid manager Jacqui meet her guests for the first time and prepare them a culinary feast. Her rival cooks include aspiring actor Daniel, Kiwi cabinet-maker Craig, Basque-born administrator Lorea and procurement officer Jenna.
Channel 4 is promising a spicy start to proceedings from the off.
Come Dine With Me is broadcast at 5pm on weekdays.
