Perth Concert Hall is to stage its biggest dinner for a belated celebration of last year’s Scottish Cup win by St Johnstone.
Around 380 tickets for the black-tie event on Sunday February 1 were quickly snapped up by Saints fans.
Perth-based whisky brand the Famous Grouse is backing the event by gifting miniatures for each place setting.
Saints associate director Roddy Grant said: “It promises to be a great night, as fans get a chance to pay tribute to the manager and players who won the Scottish Cup for the first time in our history and this generous gesture is much appreciated.”
The dinner is also being supported by the council and Invest in Perth.
“The Famous Grouse is proud of its Perth roots and we are delighted to support St Johnstone’s dinner to celebrate their first ever Scottish Cup final win,” said Glen Gribbon, director for blended Scotch whisky at Edrington.
“It was a wonderful weekend for the Fair City when Saints brought the trophy back in May and the club is on to another winner with the Perth Concert Hall dinner.”
