A man attacked his lover after an eight-hour drinking session, a court has heard.
Lazslo Szonyi had spent the day arguing back and forth with his partner in a pub, before he assaulted her at their Pitlochry home.
The 40-year-old appeared at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday and admitted the attack on September 22. He was fined £600.
Fiscal Stuart Richardson said the pair’s day out ended when partner Magdolna Madaraz swore at her boyfriend, prompting him to storm off home. She decided to stay on and finish her drink before walking back to their flat on Robertson Crescent.
Mr Richardson said: “Mr Szonyi was in the kitchen when she arrived home. He became angry with her about a name she had called him. He pushed her, causing her to fall over a kitchen chair. He then grabbed her by the hair and pulled.
“This resulted in a clump of Ms Madaraz’s hair being removed and it was later found by police who attended at the flat.”
The court heard the pair have now separated.
