The catwalk will become a dogwalk next weekend as Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society (PADS) hosts its annual Scrufts event in Dunning.
Tails are already wagging as a variety of pedigree canines prepare to share a stage with some of the scruffiest mutts around.
Judges will not be looking at family history to find their best in show winner, but will instead look for the dog that has that special X- factor or star quality.
PADS chairman Alison Kennedy said, “We have both pedigree and mongrels at our kennels looking for homes, so right from the start we decided that our dog show would reflect that.
“Apart from the search for the X-factor dog, this is one of the best dog owner social events of the year and is a great day for everyone.”
Owners can also compete in a range of other classes, including best puppy, waggiest tail and golden oldie.
As well as the dog show, the event will also feature several stalls, including one featuring dog behaviour techniques.
Local dog trainer Kairyn Beatson will be on-site to help visitors put their pets through their paces on the agility equipment.
The Scrufts show takes place at Rollo Park on Saturday, August 14, at 1pm.
