Festivities spilled over in a sun-soaked Fair City, as Perthshire Rugby club combined a weekend of rugby with a beer festival on the North Inch. A national students’ sevens tournament was held on Friday evening, followed on Saturday by a “golden oldies” event. The much-needed beer tent opened on Saturday evening, boasting 28 different beers sourced by the local Inveralmond Brewery. The sporting action continued on Sunday with an international “minis” tournament featuring teams from France, England, Wales and Scotland.
