A drink-driver crashed her car near a school while almost one and a half times the legal limit.
Perth Sheriff Court heard mother-of-one Christina Reeves had been out for lunch with friends prior to the incident on May 15.
The street outside Pitlochry High School was filled with children when Reeves, 29, drove up and initially parked in the bus bay in front of the building at around 3.20pm.
She then drove across the road at high speed, mounting the verge and hitting a wire fence, damaging her car.
Those who went to her aid said the part-time hotel worker appeared to be under the influence of drink or drugs.
Depute fiscal John Malpass said police arranged a blood sample when Reeves was unable to take a breath test.
She was found to have 123mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood. The legal limit is 80mg.
Billy Sommerville, defending, said Reeves, of Balnadrum Terrace in Pitlochry, was unaware of the strength of the drinks she had consumed at lunch.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher banned her from the road for a year and fined her £500.
