Eight new signs that offer a warm welcome to the City of Perth are now in place in positions across the city. The signs are located at visible locations, including main approach roads and gateways into Perth. They feature the new City of Perth logo and the warm greeting “Welcome to the City of Perth” in English and Gaelic. Provost Liz Grant was in Old Scone to unveil one of the signs erected on the A93 and said: “I’m delighted to see these new signs in place. “They mark Perth’s restored city status and offer a very warm welcome to everyone coming into Perth.” They join a number of other signs throughout Perth and Kinross welcoming residents to the home of the Ryder Cup 2014.
