Perth City Hall was the subject of a well-attended seminar at the city’s Royal George Hotel.
About 100 residents gathered on Monday to listen to a panel of knowledgeable speakers keen to discuss the merits of the listed Edwardian building.
Neil Baxter of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) chaired the meeting, whose speakers included Perth City Market Trust’s Vivian Linacre and author and honorary Glasgow University professor Gavin Stamp.
Also on the panel was architect James Simpson, who has prepared plans for both the trust and the Seventy Group, which hopes to convert the hall into a hotel.
