The two vehicle accident on the A94 at Easter Denhead Farm was reported shortly after 8am on Friday morning. The accident closed the road between Coupar Angus and Meigle while the emergency services dealt with the incident. A man and a woman were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment though the extent of their injuries was not known.
