A new nightclub will open its doors in Perth next month.
Called Evil Olives, the venture brings together John Buchan, from the city’s Brennans, and Daniel Vescio, Peter Verdes and David Webster of Sound Prophets.
Described as having a “Brooklyn/SoHo atmosphere”, the new venue will be in South St John’s Place.
Mr Buchan said: “We are excited to open this new venue in Perth. Evil Olives will be a breath of fresh air in a city where entertainment seems to have stagnated.”
Mr Vescio said: “It’s a boiling epicentre of young individuals who are missing a place for high-quality entertainment and we look forward to bringing our vision to the city.”
Evil Olives will be coupled with the Late Lounge and patrons will have the opportunity to switch between two rooms.
It will host events such as DJ competitions, hip-hop nights and will have specialist music from its DJ Verdy, fresh from a DJ residency in Ibiza.
Evil Olives will hold a grand preview party on November 1.
