The sky above Perth was illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display to mark Bonfire Night.
A series of stunning pyrotechnics accompanied by dramatic background music rewarded the sizeable crowd that had braved near-freezing temperatures to watch the event on the South Inch.
Organised by Perth and Strathearn 200 Round Table, the event started with the lighting of the bonfire at around 7pm, with the first fireworks shooting into the sky 30 minutes later.
The guy for the bonfire was made by children from Fairview school in Perth.
The event was hosted by a DJ from Heartland FM and those who attended could also enjoy fairground rides.
Round Table members were out in numbers, shaking buckets to raise funds for charities.
Treasurer Alan McFadden described the initiative as “Perth money for Perth people”.
Proceeds raised will go to several local charities.
This year Perth and Strathearn 200 Round Table has made a £1,900 donation to the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and has given £500 to Positive Choices, which helps people with long-term conditions.
