Two men who carried out a vicious assault and robbery in Perth were found guilty after a trial at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Stanley Burnett and William Moore stamped on their victim’s head, causing permanent impairment and endangering his life.
After knocking the man to the ground, Burnett and Moore punched and kicked him on the head and body and repeatedly stamped on his head to his severe injury.
They then robbed him of a mobile phone, £20, a bank card and a set of keys.
After hearing evidence of the attack, which took place at an address in County Place in July, Burnett, 39, of Scott Street, Perth, and Moore, 32, a prisoner at Perth, were both found guilty by a jury.
Moore committed the attack while on bail.
Burnett was also found guilty of a further charge of failure to appear in relation to an earlier hearing in the case.
Both men were detained in custody after being found guilty of the attack.
They will return to court to be sentenced on January 7 next year.
