Artist’s efforts give lift to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance

An artist has delivered a welcome boost to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance service.
Gillian Wilson converted her studio and loft in the outbuildings of her family farm at Loanleven, Almondbank, to create a gallery for special viewings and sales of her work.
A total of £1,500 was made for the Perth Airport-based charity through donations and percentages of all sales during the one-day event.
Mother-of-four Gillian said: “SCAA is such a key charity to support. It’s a charity that can impact on the lives of any of us at any time.
“SCAA is there for everyone and I feel the fact that it is solely funded by charitable donations means we all have to do our bit.”
The charity’s chief executive, Gavin Davey, said the art exhibition is “yet another example of the many varied and interesting ways the public is supporting this essential service”.
