A Perthshire teenager has appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court, charged with attempted murder.
Darren Collins (18), of Buail-Bhan, Ballinluig, made no plea during Tuesday’s appearance and his case was continued for further inquiries.
It is alleged that on April 8, in Atholl Road, Pitlochry, he struck Lewis Hall on the back with a bladed multi-tool and attempted to murder him.
A second charge alleges he was in possession of an offensive weapon the multi-tool, which contains a knife without lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Collins was freed on bail after appearing before Sheriff Brian Cameron.
