20-year-old man dies after suffering injuries on Kinnoull Hill

Police have confirmed that a man who had been taken to hospital following an incident on Kinnoull Hill, near Perth, has died.

Details of the 20-year-old have not been released until his next of kin have been notified.

However, a police spokeswoman confirmed he is understood to be from the Perth area.

”The man succumbed to his injuries at hospital and died,” she said.

The man had been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee on Sunday by ambulance after a full-scale emergency operation on Kinnoull Hill at around 4.20pm.

He died in hospital on Monday.

A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
