Three people appeared in private before a sheriff at the weekend on a petition alleging their involvement in the supply of a quantity of the class A drug diamorphine (heroin) with a potential street value of £92,000.
At Perth Sheriff Court on Saturday, Amanda Beattie, 36, and John Williamson, 50, both of Tulloch Terrace, Perth, made no plea or declaration to a charge of being concerned in the supply of the drug at an address in Tulloch Terrace, Perth, on December 23.
John Williamson Sr, 72, of Manse Crescent, Stanley, also made no plea or declaration to a charge of being concerned in the supply of the drug in Manse Crescent, Stanley, on the same date.
Beattie faces another charge of being in possession of diamorphine on the same date.
All three were fully committed and Beattie and Williamson Jr were remanded in custody by Sheriff Valerie Johnston.
Williamson Sr was granted bail but this is the subject of a Crown appeal.
