A Moroccan man who holds an international driving licence drove on the A9 Perth to Stirling road at speeds up to 100mph and flashed his lights at another motorist to “intimidate” him.
The court heard that Imad Harim, 46, of Jasmine Terrace, Aberdeen, did not hold a UK driving licence at the time of the offence.
Solicitor Paul Barnett, defending, said his client had driven dangerously and that it was “below the standard” expected.
Harim admitted that on September 15 last year on the A9 Perth to Stirling road, near a carriageway at Blackford, he drove dangerously at speeds up to 100mph on a dual carriageway while overtaking, driving extremely close to a vehicle and flashing his lights at the vehicle in an attempt to intimidate the driver to allow him to pass.
Sentence was deferred until June 25 for reports and Harim banned in the meantime.
