Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after accident on A93

A motocyclist was airlifted to hospital following an accident on the A93 in Spittal of Glenshee.

The accident which involved a motorcycle and a car happened shortly before 4pm.

The male casualty is understood to have suffered fractures to his legs though his injuries were not described as life threatening. He was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The road was partially blocked by the accident, slowing traffic in both directions. Police were on scene directing traffic.
