Works will be undertaken at 11 locations on a 42km stretch of the A9, which is used by as many as 24,000 motorists each day. The improvements will predominantly involve patching and resurfacing between the Broxden and Keir roundabouts. Andy Thompson of BEAR Scotland said works would be carried out overnight “where possible” to minimise the impact on motorists. The programme begins on Wednesday on the stretch between the A824 Aberuthven and Dunning North junctions. Full details of the traffic management arrangements that will be put in place have yet to be announced.
