It is understood one of the vehicles burst into flames after colliding with the other near Moulinearn just before 4pm on Saturday. Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service treated three casualties at the scene. One patient was flown by Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with suspected head injuries. The other two were taken by road ambulance to Ninewells, where they received treatment for lacerations and minor injuries. The fire was extinguished by 4.46pm.
