Trains from Glasgow and Edinburgh were initially delayed for up to half an hour as engineers from Network Rail made their way to the location. A spokesman said the signals were being changed manually as the engineers work to repair the fault. He added that the delays had been reduced to as little as “five to ten minutes” for the majority of services
