Music fans have been assured that T in the Park will take place at Strathallan Castle in 2015.
DF Concerts say they are committed to the 1,000-acre estate chosen as the new home of the nation’s biggest festival.
Shock announcements made on Thursday by the Scottish Government and Perth and Kinross Council have thrown roadblocks into the path of the move from Balado.
The presence of nesting ospreys has led to a demand for an environmental impact assessment, which in turn led to requirements for a three-month public consultation and full planning permission.
Such steps could derail a less established event, given the often lengthy planning process and the time constraints it could place upon its organisation.
DF Concerts, however, have few doubts that they can meet all the requirements and secure all the permissions needed to start a new life in the heart of Strathallan.
A spokeswoman said: “When we were working on the basis of operating under permitted development, there was no record of any ospreys in the vicinity of the estate.
“We will naturally need to manage the situation which we would have done under permitted development anyway.
“The fact that the Scottish Government have decided that full planning permission is required will not change how we operate the event and we are all looking forward to moving to our new home at Strathallan Castle in 2015.”
It is understood the public consultation could begin within a matter of weeks.
When the event’s switch was unveiled in June, T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis said he was excited by the new venue after admiring it as a location for an event for some time.
