A Perthshire company specialising in extreme sports has launched a new venture aimed at young adventurers.
Ballinluig-based Nae Limits has opened its first Wee Limits Adventure Academy, which is aimed at children between the ages of five and 12.
It is the first venture of its kind in Scotland and is being offered by the same company which introduced aqualining and the only permanent bungee jump to the country.
One of the academy’s first events will be the Wee Limits Wilderness Days which kick off this October.
The courses are designed to offer fun and learning in an outdoor environment. Participants will experience some of Scotland’s best wilderness and wildlife in the heart of Highland Perthshire on water and land, learning bush craft and survival skills along the way.
Nae Limits owner John Mason-Strang said: “We wanted to extend what we offer as a company but we wanted to take it right back to the beginning by not only having fun in the wonderful surrounding landscape that we have in abundance around Perthshire but to educate children about ecology, hydrology, working in the countryside and how the land has been shaped.”
