T in the Park has been shortlisted for a trio of top titles at this year’s prestigious UK Festival Awards.
The event which bade farewell to its home of 18 years at Balado this summer is up for Best Major Festival alongside names such as Glastonbury and Download.
It’s also nominated for Best Headline Performance following Biffy Clyro’s tenth appearance at the festival.
Organisers could also secure the title of the UK’s Greenest Festival at the awards ceremony, which will be held in London on December 1.
DF Concerts CEO Geoff Ellis said: “It’s always fantastic to be recognised by the UK Festival Awards as they really are the Oscars of our industry.”
