Rattray ““ Alyth road accident puts biker in hospital

A man has been rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following an accident in Perthshire.
The 23-year-old, who has not been named, was riding a high-powered motorcycle on the A926 Rattray to Alyth road when he collided with the nearside verge on Tuesday.
A Tayside Police spokesman said the accident occurred close to Easter Rattray Farm at around 4.20pm. No other vehicles were involved.
It was unclear whether or not the man’s condition is life threatening and the extent of his injuries have not been revealed.
However, The Courier understands he was unconscious when paramedics arrived at the scene.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident, or who saw the black Honda CBR 1100 motorbike prior to it, to contact them on 0300 1113333 or speak to any officer.
